COMPETITION: NORTH WEST FED ROUND 3
JUDGE: Kevin Day
DATE: 04.12.25
OVERVIEW: We went into the third and final round of the NW Fed competition trailing Amersham by 7 points.
COMMENTARY: The third round of the North West Fed Competition was held at Ealing on 4th December. There was a good turn out of FEPS supporters at the event. The first half of the competition focussed on prints and we were just two points behind Amersham at half time.

There are two starred images in each section and Catherine Allen’s beautiful print image titled Agave was awarded the maximum 20 points and was a starred image.

Claire Thornton’s lovely ink and water image titled No Artificial Colours was also awarded the maximum score of 20 points.

In the PDI section we held our own, giving Amersham a good run for their money.
Jeff Hayne’s image Bond Street Dandy scored the maximum 20 points.
The two PDI starred images came from Amersham.
The final scores were:
1st place: Amersham: 189 points
2nd Place: Field End: 185 points
3rd Place: Ealing and Hampshire House: 180 points
Amersham have won this section of the NW Fed, having won all three rounds, and will go on to compete on Finals Day with the other winners of the sections.
