We start our journey from Bethnal Green and we will see the following locations on the way:

  • THE BLUE PLAQUE FOR A 17th CENTURY MAN WHO PRODUCED A BOOK FOR BOXING COACHING
  • THE WAR MEMORIAL FOR THE DEATHS OF PEOPLE IN THE 2nd WW
  • THE ST. JOHNS CHURCH
  • THE V & A MUSEUM
  • YORK HALL
  • CANROBERT STREET (OLD Terraced Houses with Gates)
  • SHACKLEWELL  STREET (Graffiti & Murals)
  • BRICK LANE (NORTHERN END – MARKET & ANTIQUE TRADERS)
  • SHOPS AND STALLS IN MAIN ROAD
  • WILMOT STREET, &  BETHNAL GREEN STATION (WEAVER LINE), WEAVER FIELDS AND ARTWORK, 
  • THE MARQUIS OF CORNWALLIS PUB—-KRAY BROTHERS?
  • THROUGHOUT THE TRIP LOOK FOR MURALS (good) AND GRAFFITI (some good, others not so)
FOOD and DRINK AVAILABLE AT PUB (recommended by Peter). Estimated at around 3-4pm.

Total walking distance: approx. 3miles.


This trip is weather dependent; in the event of heavy and/or persistent rain, this trip will be postponed.
